About Catanach’s

“Purity, beauty and value are the inseparable qualities of fine diamonds. As a gem, the diamond is incomparable. As a gift, the diamond occupies a sphere which is distinctly its own, as its world-wide preference down the ages amply testifies.”
So said expert jeweller William Catanach in 1920.

George Catanach created the Catanach’s brand over 130 years ago, with the premise that quality and beauty must go hand in hand when crafting a piece of fine jewellery.
His legacy has continued for over five generations and today, Amanda Catanach (William’s great granddaughter) carries on this legacy with the Catanach’s Collection.

Catanach’s has a spectacular selection of fine diamonds, offering the beauty and gentle brilliance of old-cut diamonds and the wide and varied choice of modern and fancy-cut stones, designed as a solitaire or teamed with beautiful coloured stones.

Catanach’s Jewellers opened in Broome in 1999 with a beautiful collection of South Sea Cultured and Keshi pearls as well as the fine Jewellery that Catanach’s is so renowned for. Renamed in 2006, Catalina Pearls boasts an extensive collection of mother-of-pearl antique pieces, nautical lines including bronze divers, compasses, telescopes, some beautiful antique Jewellery and of course Broome South Sea Cultured and Keshi Pearls.
